Not very.
Take no notice, Nigel, it was one of my favourites as well, though it's been gone from our screens for ages. ;)
Memory a bit blurry, I'll answer the simple ones and rack my brains (or get wifey to hers) on the others.
1) Vinegar Tits. 5) The Freak. 8) Lizzie Birdsworth. 15) The oldest Biker in the world.

4. The theme tune was "On The Inside", the singer Lynne Hamilton. I can fill in the dots on Lady Hayley's message, if you like, so she can now treat us to a rendition :
Verse 1 He used to give me roses I wish he could again But that was on the outside And things were different then
Verse 2 We build our world together With a love so clear and strong But that was on the outside Where did I go wrong?
Chorus On the inside the sun still shines And the rain falls down But the sun and rain are prisoners too When morning comes around
Verse 3 Last night I dreamed we were together Sharing all the love we'd known 'Til I had to face the nightmare Of waking up alone
Repeat Chorus
New Chorus On the inside the roses grow They don't mind the stoney ground But the roses here are prisoners too When morning comes around
Verse 4 He used to give me roses I wish he could again But that was on the outside And things were different then
To confirm the Colemanator's comment on the sadness of the occasion, or maybe of the song, I can confirm that I have the 7" vinyl of this tucked away somewhere in my record collection, along with "Where everyone knows your name" by Gary Portnoy which is the theme to "Cheers". :'(

Well by your signature Regg3y I thought that you were "starting to enjoy this". ::) This Quiz of Nigel's has proved one of the most popular ever - answers have been coming thick and fast from several quarters.
He now has the difficult job of disentangling and apportioning points as appropriate.
Quazza Points are becoming more sought after than Kipling points unless I'm very much mistaken. ;D ;D ;D ;D

There certainly would not have been a second time!
I'd rather go out with Clive or Lorin (again)

Well done Tommo and Regg3y points are awarded thus
Tommo 8 Regg3y 6
Missing answer is for question 13 - Wentworth Warriors was not what I was looking for, I am looking for the name of her bikers gang on the outside.
Remembers guys don't lag or I might have to put your hands in the steam press!

Thanks Nigel.
So Nigel - does your supreme knowledge of your chosen subject extend either side in time to the two English versions - firstly Within These Walls, and in more recent times, Bad Girls ?

Tommo
I'm afraid I never got into the English versions - 'Within these walls' was a bit before my time and Bad Girls is always on when I'm out playing bar billiards. Cell block H was perfect timing on about 11pm on a Tuesday night (I think) until it moved to Channel 5 when they put it on at 4am!

I know exactly what you mean, Nigel.
Earlier in the year Sky Three were showing Deadwood (starring Ian McShane) on Freeview at just about the right time for me when I had just staggered back from the pub, chinese in hand. Now they've shifted it to Sky One which I can't get, and I really miss it !
