BHCC 4, Windmill Z 1 Higgy 6600, Johnny 2590 (Johnny put a one-up behind, Higgy dominating from then on) Barney 4440, Graham 2730 (Barney doing his usual good thing of staying on, I counted a 20-shot break at one stage to clear for the breakback) Ros 1050, Clive 930 (a game neither of us seemed to want to win: I pegged 1500 early on; then table got loaded up; Ros pegged a winning break; I had a chance at the 100; and Ros potted it at the 2nd attempt) Trevor 2360, Mick 3100 (see-saw battle, Trevor nearly pulling off a red in the 100 after the bar had gone but Mick making sure) Spud 4150, Barry 2240 (Barry making the early running but Spud irresistible, and even had the luxury of blowing a 2k break with a peg)
Match played in a torrid atmosphere (room packed full with a darts function going on) but no complaints - the home team played their table well. And sandwiches were nice.

Hassocks B 1-4 HHSC A
Wins for Andy,Mick,Richard and
Sparky for the visitors, and Barry for
the home team.
A 8k from Andy in the first , was eclipsed
by Mr Wooton in the 3rd who hit a season
best 15k break and nearly 17k total.
With 2 late withdrawals, the home team had
struggled to get a full team, but the two
late replacements both made encouraging
debuts and enjoyed themselves.
