All matches shall be played on neutral tables and shall be the best of 3 games. The first break shall be decided by the toss of a coin. Even breaks shall be played in the event of a third game, the first break to be decided by a toss of a coin. In the event of a third game the second player shall be entitled to insert additional coins to allow his or her first break to continue without time limit to equal or exceed the first player’s score. Should the third game be tied, a fourth game shall be played with the rules as for the third.
The order of play shall be A,B,C,D in game one, and D,C,B,A in game 2, in the event of a third game the players who did not take the first breaks in the first two games shall take the break.

Dave and Kev lost 2-1 to Ros and Neil on Tuesday evening. Three scrappy games with Neil's opening break in the third deciding it. Well played and good luck in the next round.

Myself and Mick beat Derek and Darren 2-0 tonight at the Cock.
Both games were scrappy and we had to keep waiting for the guys playing pool to take their shot, sometimes waiting 15-20 seconds.
Not an acceptable way to play a match.
A shame to play in that kind of environment.

Agreed Richard. It is really frustrating with the table positioned as it is. One would have hoped the people playing pool would give way as their's game is untimed, and, as yours was a competition match, they could have waited until you'd finished.
We have considered relocating our team but fear our leaving would mean another venue would be lost.
