Steve Eely 2170 Tony Temple 3730 Tony stayed in front, and finished the game well. Steve had two chances on the break. Dave Lennon 2840 Keith Newman 2800 Keith lost his opening break of over 1K, but then got well in the lead. Dave recovered from a BP and nicked it potting the last ball. Lin Lennon 1020 Tony Franks 4290 Tony always well in the lead, scoring steadily through the game. Mick Clack 5720 Chip Sawyer 1600 Mick with an early 2.7 K break, followed by a 2K. John Tudhope 4810 Melvin Blake 1250 A scratchy start by both. I then cleared the balls for a 3K break to clinch the decider.
Good sandwiches and chips to end an enjoyable evening. Not so enjoyable for the Man U supporters in the pub however.

Rssc 4 Lintott 1
Moose 6630 John 1730 Dick 4740 Barry 2100 Pete 5500 Tony 1130 John 3720 Brian 720 Twig 4350 Jim 5070
Jt on and off early, Moose making 3k break and John struggling. One more good break by Lee wrapped things up.
Dick and Baz up next. Baz played well to take a lead. Halfway through things pretty level until Dick forged ahead to win the leg.
Pete and Tony 3rd up. Tony on and off Pete took control and a couple of breaks was enough to take the frame.
John and Chelsea on next. Brian left the balls up and gave me an early chance. A few more goes and Sleesy got them back.Going along well I managed to whip a split and peg 10 k break to alls humour, but still got enough at the end phew
Last Twig and Jim probably best game of the night. Both scoring freely chances for both the leg could have gone either way. Jim on when it mattered nicked it.
A fun evening with the Lintott lads with loads of friendly laughs and banter.

Railway 1 Limeburners 4
Grant Hope 3210 Ricky Dewdney 2100 Colin Bolton 1300 Dick Dewdney 3350 Lee Tugwell 900 Brian Goodchild 3060 Scott Hope 1120 Billy Hammond 3750 Dave Simmons 1290 John Miller 3280
Game 1: Ricky off early, Decent 2k from Grant proved uncatchable. Game 2: Ok start from Dick, Colin unable to get the break back. Game 3: Ok start from Boycie, Lee unable to get the break back. Game 4: Moderate start from Billy, SotC looked good however the break back proved elusive. Game 5: Steady game from Junkie, Dave played the long game and was rewarded with the break back...as the bar dropped.
Rather disappointing result for the home team tonight with the run of the ball certainly going for the visitors. Enjoyable evening nonetheless. Many thanks to Nathan for a tasty Chilli and to Billy for some particularly violent onions.
