Well done to Curt Driver on winning the Oxford Open and to Keith Sheard for making the final.

To Gary Powell who won the plate beat beating Doug Carswell in the final.

Thank you to Mark Trafford for running the day and all his hard work making the Open a success.

Congratulations to Curt on his 1st Oxon win, runner-up twice before so third time lucky.

Gary Powell did well too, winning the Plate: must be his favourite Open as a previous champion.

Knew Milko wouldn't let me down with the Tipsters - always a safe bet on home ground.

Good evening everyone. Now the dust has settled on a very exhausting weekend, i can now do a report on the open!

Firstly, thanks to Ian Gordon & Sid Ponting on their help with setting up the tables on Friday. At 9.30 Saturday morning, they all played beautifully but I think people will agree that they were a bit tricky during the day. They were very cold when installed and being a lot warmer on the Saturday with extra bodies in the room, certainly changed them!

Thanks to the Inter-Area, Lorin Clough, Tony Willis for their help with sponsorship and to all those that donated a raffle prize.
