2. Ruffe or Daddy Ruffe as us anglers call them.
8. Catfish
9. Bass, I think it is the misspelling of the name from olden days, you probably remember it Tony ;)
10. Burbot and I believe is also the same answer to (15) as there have been no recorded catches of them since 1975 if my memory is correct.

I don't think we'll get any more out of this so the answer were....
1. Miller's Thumb is a bullhead (also called a Tommy Logge but not round 'ere) 2. Pope is a ruffe/daddy ruffe 3. Chevin is a chub 4. Dart is a dace 5. Jack is a pike 6. Graining is a dace again 7. Gillaroo is a trout 8. Wels is a Danubian catfish 9. Barse is a perch 10. Eel pout is a burbot 11. Ferox is a trout again 12. Fluke is a flounder 13. Loggerhead is a chub again
14. Name any non-indigenous freshwater fish that were first introduced into this country after 1900. There are many but zander, motherless minnow, topmouth gudgeon, bitterling, black bass, cichlid, brook trout, ide, golden orfe and grass carp are a few that come to mind.
15. Name any freshwater fish that are thought to be extinct in this country. The obvious one is burbot but you could have got thirty bonus points for hutchen... ;D I'll give petem a point for vendace because it bloody well soon will be unless we get our act together and stop destroying it's habitat... :(
Final points are; KP 4 points Sav 3 points HVP 2 points petem 2 points (RS already had zander) Richard Stowe 1 point Tommo 1 point Wolfman 1 point
cheers Tony
