CORONAVIRUS POST REVISED

LEAGUE POSTPONED (See Below)

Hi Everybody

As you probably know there is a nasty virus doing the rounds, and there is concern about clean hands touching dirty billiard balls or any other balls for that matter

Despite the fact that our final's night is nine weeks away, it could well coincide with the Government's estimated timing of the peak for this virus

So do we postpone the season now, or do we play what we can when we can, please give feedback either below or by E-Mail

LEAGUE MATCHES

There are only two weeks left in the season, this Wednesday and I propose to bring forward the matches due to be played on Wednesday 1st April to Wednesday 25th March

INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION QUARTER FINALS

There are now fewer players involved and I propose that these matches are played on Monday 30th March and Wednesday 1st April

TEAM CUP GROUP STAGE MATCHES

If possible these matches could be played on Wednesday's 8th and 15th April, the matches that were to be played on Wednesday 22nd will now be played on Wednesday 8th

That way all four participants on finals night may have been decided without needing matches to be played on Wednesday 15th April

INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION SEMI FINALS

If possible can be played in late April early May, if not later during the summer

FINALS NIGHT

Currently Wednesday 20th May, but can easily be changed to a Wednesday in September/October before the start of next season

Hi Everybody

After a few responses to above, the chairman and myself have decided that it would be best if the rest of the matches were postponed

I will monitor the situation and hopefully we can restart the league in late May early June to complete the outstanding matches

Finals night will be either Wednesday 23rd or Wednesday 30th September

I will also send out the draw for the Individual Competition Quarter Finals so that if you wish to play, you can arrange a date to do so
