Here are some more pictures of spectacular Bridges and Viaducts, all in the UK. One clue beneath each picture of the county they’re to be found in. One point for each one correctly identified. 13 In Greater London 14 In North Somerset 15 In Greater Manchester 16 On Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border 17 In Sussex 18 In Cornwall 19 In Berkshire 20 In Inverness-shire, Scotland 21 In Kent 22 In Northumberland 23 In Gwynedd, Wales ……and finally, tommo goes all misty –eyed over this one – which no traffic is allowed over: 24 In South Ayrshire, Scotland Again, some are mighty difficult and might only be sussed with local knowledge... Good luck !

Nice one Sparky, I'm sure you know it well - as well as many of the sheep who graze in the vicinity. ;D ;D ;D [glow=red,2,300]1 pt[/glow]

16) 19) 20) and 21) all spot on, Lord Cheeky - that's Eton College in the background of 19) by the way.
The answer you have given to 18) is the precise definition of one of the others, so I'll award half-a-point. And to gain the full point for the one in question, whoever nominates it correctly will have to name the two towns which it links to each other.
Scooner's answer to 14) is correct also.

22 Royal Border Bridge I thought Berwick on Tweed was on both sides of the river but does it link Tweedmouth with Berwick?

Well, that little lot is worth 6 points, Sav. 1pt each for 23) and 18) - two really spectacular sights. 2pts for the detailed answer for the Mancunian one (Castlefield). And 2pts for Brigadoon and the amusing veiled reference which demonstrates knowledge of the legend of Tam O'Shanter: www.robertburns.org.uk/Assets/Poems_Songs/tamoshanter.htmYes, tommo and margo have stood on the Brig O'Doon and found it a spiritual - neigh uplifting - experience. ;D I would very much recommend the nearby Tam O' Shanter exhibition to anyone going that way- the legend is brought to life in a cinema hall. Ten minutes left to get the last one (13). Leaderboard: 1. Sav 6pts 2. Lord Cheeky 4.5pts 3= Sparky 1pt 3= Scooner 1pt 3= Herr van Puebik 1pt

For a quick bonus, extending quiz for, say, half an hour: What is the difference between these two items of Scottish millinery ?

Okay, I think we've wrung the last bit out of this one.
The missing answer was 13) Holborn Viaduct. The difference in hats is that the one on the left is an authentic Tam o'Shanter from the shape. Whereas the one on the right is of lesser quality (and price) and is billed (with the red hair attached) as a "C U Jimmy hat". ;D
It finished :
