13) Durham
15) Brown
3) One assumes it's John O'Groats from the end to end rides but "town" might disqualify it. If J O'G is too small then I know Thurso is the most northerly rail station (on my bucket list of rail journeys) so I would go with that.

If J O'G is too small then I know Thurso is the most northerly rail station (on my bucket list of rail journeys) so I would go with that. 13 I would have thought that too, the Norman pillars are more prominent than in most others. But apparently there's one older - both in terms of build (Durham 1093 - 1133) and in founding of the see (Durham 635 AD as the "white church") 0.5pt
15 correct, 1pt
3 J O'G correct for 1pt. Inhabited being the operative word. Bonus 0.5pt for Thurso.

2) Hay on Wye 13) It would be the crypt at Ripon although the rest on the cathedral has been added later, so not sure this would count
Have visited both the above at different times, always like to look at the churches when I visit an area.

13) The question does ask where is the oldest cathedral in England and does not refer to the building itself which I always thought was Durham, which I've been around.
If the question refers to history rather than bricks and mortar I would say Canterbury.
4) Complete and utter punt (or should I say coracle?) Aberystwyth?
19) One in three chance Leeds?

Taking Hay-on-Wye as your answer to question 4) coreect, 1pt
13) What an interesting answer ! Had to check Wikipedia, which states thus: Whilst this does not count as the correct answer (St Wilfrids church was destroyed and Ripon cathedral is the fourth edifice on the site) I've learnt something I didn't know before about cathedrals, so I'll award you 2pts.

Yet another claim to fame for Kent !

14 another kent landmark Dover castle 19 leeds both incorrect, will leave 14) open on the quiz, but as two have now given the same incorrect answer for 19) I'm going to insist that the correct one is Bradford (pictured below)

Have you noticed how the chasers' questions in the final chase are always the easier ones - no matter if the contestants choose A or B ? 1pt also for closing this quiz.
