Number 7) is wrong, Pete, apart from that all are correct, 10pts. Would have given extra bonus point for naming Tommy Lee's wife (sorry I said girlfriend earlier. :-[ )
Massive2 correctly names Phil Collins as number 3) but didn't re-affirm his band so Petem gets a discretionary half-point for first mention.

John Bonham is either no. 10 or no. 13, who look very similar to my failing eyes....
I'll plump for no. 10, and for group will go for the Band of Joy....

Good one, Mark. JB is indeed no.10 (no 13 coincidentally also recorded on the Atlantic label) and his first, lesser known, band in the 60's formed with Robert Plant was indeed Band of Joy. So 2pts.

Correct, Petem spots the Floyd's Nick Mason, keen collector and racer of historic cars. Check this out, click on the wallpapers at the top of the screen and you'll see Nick sitting in his 2005 Maserati Pininfarani Birdcage concept. www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-2005-Maserati-Pininfarina-Birdcage-Goodwood.htm1. Petem 12.5pts 2= Jel 2pts 2=MarkJ 2pts 4. Massive2 1pt 6),8),11),12),13),14) and bonus for nos.5)& 10) still to get.

1 bonus point for Led Zep. Pamela Anderson deserving of 2 big ones, I think, as home movie was mentioned. :o None too memorable as the copy that came my way was a poor quality bootleg. I do recall they had a nice yacht though. ;)

No.12 (we're in desperate guessing territory now) Willie Hall, from the Blues Brothers band in the film?
The rationale behind my straw-clutching is that the bass drum has the word Memphis on it, and I'm hoping that this signifies it to be Booker T. & the MGs, who predominantly comprised the Blues Brothers backing band...
if this is actually correct, I feel I should receive a bonus point of some kind!

Wherever did you pluck that one from, Mark ?
I deliberately picked bands with interesting drum rhythms and was very fond of the tracks Time Is Tight, Soul Limbo and Green Onions, so I looked up Booker T for the quiz.
I must say that I thought Al Jackson was the drummer, but what you said fits, according to this :
The group was planning a reunion when Al Jackson was shot to death in Memphis October 1, 1975. The band did reunite with Willie Hall on the drums for Universal Language, and Jones later recorded three solo albums for A&N. Jones, Cropper, and Dunn recorded with others as the RCO All-Stars. Cropper and Dunn recreated their distinct style behind The Blues Brothers on tours and albums as well as in the movie The Blues Brothers in 1980.
So well done, 1pt for Willie Hall, 1pt for Booker T & the MGs, 1pt for the Blues Brothers, and 1pt for catching out the quizmeister !

13 and 14 both correct for 4pts, well done Ian. No 11 is from a slightly less frenetic band than Motorhead.

Sorry, Herr and Frau, the guy in question is from a very famous band from the sixties. Although the two most famous members have left, he's still doing gigs with the other band member and a couple of new guitarists, under the name of the "Castoff - - - - s"

6, could be Bill Black, from Elvis' backing band the Blue Moons
8, Mick Avory, the Kinks??

I'm running out of ideas, but no 11 might be Bill Bruford of King crimson and later Yes, poor picture though Clive.

You're a genuine rocker aren't you, Colemanator ?
8) Mick Avory correct for 2pts. 11) Bill Bruford correct for 3pts.
Just 6 to get now, and he's a drummer in his own right, not part of a group.
