Okay, another quiz. This one, on creepy-crawlies, will make you appreciate my soap Babes and Female Recording Artists a bit more ! The creatures are insects, parasites, bugs etc – mainly tiny predators. Imagine if they developed into human size – they’d rule the earth with a vengeance ! We might have known that Harry the Spider and Jill would speak with authority on the subject of insects !
Correct answers have been given to 3,4,5,8 & 9. Half-point for no.10, they do look very much like dust mites, but these are parasitical to a favourite animal of this website ! ;D

Well, 10 is really Sheep-lice, but I think you've done enough to earn the other half-point. And 7 - spot on with silkworm.

KP correctly identifies the Giant leopard month. 1pt. Sav's answer for 2) is incorrect but gets 0.5 as it is from the correct sub-division of insects (Coleoptera). The elephant beetle has a similar long snout -as shown in this picture - however your one is black and mine is lighter in colour and has a more specialised diet. Leaderboard: 1. H & J 7pts 2. Well done Jill, Scale insect is correct. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scale_insectA rather nasty little pest which latches onto your plant and just keeps eating and eating. They reproduce like mad as well. The 2.5 points for that as promised. Quiz ended thus : 1. H & J 9.5pts 2= KPringle 1pt 2= Sav 1pt
