2 - Name the 8 English cities that can have derby matches.

Damn, got there before me with Brooking, that's a classic quiz question.
Anyway, Birmingham as one of the missing cities. And I suppose Derby can have Derby matches too. ;D

There are other English cities that can have derbies, Oxford & Cambridge to name but two that spring readily to mind.
There are more than 92 football clubs, you know, milhouse :) ;)

Oxford and Cambridge are different Cities, it isn't what locals call their derby game like Man Utd and Leeds it is teams in the same city. For example Liverpool and Everton are both in Liverpool. Hmmm how did I write that down twice Tommo :( I did mean to write Birmingham of course ;)

KP, sorry old chap, but I'm afraid I have understood the question correctly. What I meant was that Oxford United v Oxford City would be a derby, as would Cambridge United v Cambridge City, not Oxford v Cambridge. My rather truncated answer left grounds for misinterpretation, however, I readily concede. Milhouse had not specified that all the teams in question had to be members of the Football League, so I thought I'd try to sneak in a couple of additional (legitimate) answers that he might not have considered :)

.................and of course Oxford v Cambridge would be a varsity match rather than a derby game.
This particular thread is incredibly enlightening, as it provides an excellent example of how easily misconceptions can occur. :o
