I hope that you are all safe and COVID free
Recently there have been a few enquiries about BHBBL and below is an E-Mail that I have sent to both the Horsham and Mid Sussex Leagues
I would like to stress that unlike the Superleague in football, this is in a very early stage and is just a suggestion, and nothing have been agreed
Any comments from you would be appreciated, hopefully bar billiards will start again in some format by the end of September or early October
For this to happen, obviously lockdowns and social distancing have to be in the past

THE E-MAIL SENT TO THE HBBL AND MID SUSSEX LEAGUES
Hi Everybody
Provided lockdowns and social distancing are in the past we may be able to restart playing later in the year
BHBBL have lost the tables in the Windmill, (Also HBBL), Blue Ship and The Limeburners for certain, I do not know about The Railway, The Lintot and The White Hart
Even with doubling up at the surviving venues the BHBBL may have as few as five teams or as many as eight or nine
We also have to accept that due to the pandemic, and not playing for more than a year, quite a few players will be reluctant to start playing again
Now I would imagine that all three leagues are in a similar position, and although we all like to protect our league’s independence, it may be the time to consider combining our teams and assets
In other words, one strong league with possibly more than one division is better than three weak leagues
Maybe we can meet up after May 17th, when we can hopefully go inside a pub to discuss this possibility
