I understand that, as with all Tarrat's tables, the table at the Fish was up for sale. If no buyer could be found it would be removed.
Strikes me as a strange business model where you remove your source of income from pubs.

Hi Horny, last I heard from Rod Tarratt, they were initially going to sell tables from venues that do not also have a Tarratt Pool Table, with the venues given first option to buy the BB table themselves. Rod was waiting to see how things progress with Covid and his finances before selling 'all' BB tables, and hope Tarratts aren't forced to go that far. |

20 tables sold at £2000 each since the start of the pandemic. No tables left in reserve for Masters/Finals Nights.

I have just had a Whats App message saying the same thing that we have the option to buy the table or it will be removed.Also there may be a problem of finding enough room for it due to the new kitchen opening.Not sure where the table is now probably stuck in a dark room or a shed.Not sure what is going to happen at the Watermill unless we decide to try and find another home but there are hardly any pubs around with a Bar Billiard Table unless we can share a table somewhere.I believe Tarrat's want about £900 for it.

I thought the Watermill rented both BB & a pool table so not at risk. Isn't there room at the other end of the pub where it used to be a few years ago.

Just as way of update is good news as the table is staying at the Fish with the team members buying the table.
