Beatles Quiz II
To make it up to Glenn…………………
The following were written by Lennon/McCartney but were well-known hits for other artistes, and you have to name them.
1. From A Window 2. Nobody I Know 3. Like Dreamer Do 4. I’ll Keep You Satisfied 5. Love Of The Loved 6. I’m In Love 7. That Means A Lot 8. It’s For You 9. World Without Love 10. Bad To Me 11. Hello Little Girl 12. I’ll Be On My Way
And these songs are just credited to one Beatle only, and I need the Artiste and not the Beatle.
13. Mellow Yellow 14. Those Were The Days 15. Sour Milk Sea 16. I’m The Urban Spaceman 17. Goodbye 18. Come And Get It 19. Liverpool Lou 20. Costafine Town
These are ‘kin easy, Glenn, so I’ll expect them all answered in one go. Here’s the deal – 1pt to you up to 20 for each one correct. And for each blank left, or wrong answer, 1pt to tommo !

Are we all allowed to have a go at these, tommo? Don't want to put my foot in it again.. :)
I'm puzzled by no.16, which was produced by a Beatle, but I don't think written by him. Composed by a Rutle instead, surely?

Sorry Mark, but these are just for Glenn. Any points earned will only be Bono-Geldof type Honorary Points and will be taking the bread from the mouth of our Lord and Master. :-[ :-[ ;D
I'm sure you're right about number 16 - I put the questions up quickly with the help of a quick "Google trawl" and it didn't look right at the time. Lets see what Wikipedia says about it :
Innes, with Vivian Stanshall, wrote most of the band's songs, including "I'm the Urban Spaceman", their sole hit, (produced by Paul McCartney under the pseudonym Apollo C. Vermouth) and "Death Cab for Cutie" (which inspired an American musical group of the same name), which was featured in the Beatles' film Magical Mystery Tour.
So yes, I'll admit the question is flawed - without even bothering to dig out my own vinyl copy of it to check ;D -, but it does have a Beatles association; in view of that, we can leave the question in for Glenn to answer who the recording artists were.

Unashamed band-wagon jumper that I am, I too have a question for the maestro to ponder....
the lyrics of which Beatles song include references to the demise of a Guinness heir?

Right, Thanks Mark.
I'm transferring my one across from the other thread too, so Glenn now has 22 to respond to:
The Royal Mail is to issue a special set of six commemorative stamps in the UK next week, featuring album covers from the Beatles. Which six albums will be featured ?
