Below is the Agenda for the above meeting that is due to take place in the Gordon Luff Room at Roffey SSC starting at 8.00pm


1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.

2 TREASURERS REPORT FOR SEASON STARTED IN SEPT 2019, BALANCE AS AT NOW IS £997.31 CREDIT

3 CHAIRMAN'S RAFFLE FOR THAT SEASON TOTALS £150.00, THERE WILL BE A DRAW FOR THREE PRIZES OF £50.00 CASH

4 THE SECRETARY WILL OUTLINE THE CASE FOR MERGING BHBBL WITH THE HORSHAM AND DISTRICT LEAGUE

5 THE MEETING WILL THEN BE OPEN TO ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE FLOOR REGARDING THE MERGER

6 VOTE FOR AND AGAINST THE MERGER

IF THE VOTE IS "YES"

PLEASE SEE THE SHEET IN THE PACKAGE HEADED " Process and timescale of proposed merger BBBL & HDBBL "

THEN ON TUESDAY 10TH AUGUST THERE BE THE FIRST AGM OF THE NEW LEAGUE

7 ANY OTHER MATTERS

IF THE VOTE IS "NO"

THE BHBBL EGM BECOMES THE 54TH AGM

7 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN, SECRETARY, TREASURER, AND OTHER COMMITTEE MEMBERS FOR THE NEW SEASON.
THE CURRENT TREASURER/SECRETARY WILL BE RETIRING

8 ANY OTHER MATTERS

9 CLOSE OF MEETING

Below, I have attached a package for the above meeting regarding the suggested merger of the BHBBL and HBBL leagues

For the most important decision for both leagues for many years I would like as many people as possible to attend

The room selected is large enough for social distancing, and if you wish to wear a mask please feel free to do so

Dick Dewdney who kindly used to produced photo copies for me has retired and is no longer able to do so

So, if you can print the package, please bring two or three copies with you, to cover for those that are unable to do so

For your bedtime reading I have also attached a copy of the suggested rules for the new league

Hi Everybody

Please note that the vote last night for the merger was a definite "NO"

I will publish the minutes of the EGM, and the subsequent 54th AGM over the weekend

Yes that was a surprise, but good to hear that there was a reasonable turn out even with those that had been pinged staying away.

I wish the Billingshurst committee & players all the best for the new season & the future.
