It is with incredible sadness that I have to inform you that our Debbie passed away yesterday after a brief but brave battle with cancer. She was a stalwart of Witney Bar Billiards for forty years and on occasion the Eynsham league too, a great friend to many of us and she will be sorely missed in all our lives.
A fine player, I am certain she could have been one of the best in the UK but life gets in the way sometimes.
Our condolences go to her family, friends and her team mates at the Masons at this sad time.
Rest in peace Deb - we will miss you. x

This news yesterday has been really heartbreaking to take in. Another life taken far too soon by the dreaded cancer. Debbie you will be sorely missed. xx
I have known Debbie since she started playing all those years ago. Debbie was always a very strong player to play against and was better to be playing in the same team than against her. I was always glad when she said she could play in our Ladies teams which included the Ladies County & Deb had also played in the Ladies England Team. I agree Tony that Deb would have been a top player (if life had allowed) in the UK with her flare of big breaks, an excellent player who will be missed so much by us all as a friend & team player.
My condolences go to all Debbie's family, friends & team mates at this extremely sad time. Rest in Peace Deb, we will miss you 😥😥 xxx
