Right, time for a tot-up on this one, as a full set of answers now provided.
KP has answered 13,19,24 and 25 correctly, but gains 5pts instead of 4. This is because the source of the quiz (Sunday Mirror, 25th Feb 2007) got question 19 totally wrong and put Cher as the answer. KP correctly identified Charlotte Maria Reed as being Charlotte Church, whereas everyone knows that Cher is Cheryl Sarkisian LaPiere. ::) So bonus point for KP, well done.
CraigC's two answers are correct, and so are Petem's two. mystery guest's answers were self-confessedly hurried, 14) being wrong (see Petem for correct answer) and 17) and the half-answer to 25) had already gone overnight. Englebert is correct, though, and I can answer the query about his birth-name with this quote from Wikipedia : Arnold began singing in nightclubs during the early 1950s. He did not try his hand at singing until he was seventeen when he found himself playing at a pub that sponsored a singing contest. When his friends coaxed him into entering, he put down his sax and for the first time revealed another vocal talent: impersonations. He gave a fine impression of Jerry Lewis and was quickly dubbed Gerry Dorsey by his friends. It became his professional stage name and he never picked up the sax again. So only the one point after all that.
Finally, Harry and Jill have hoovered up the remaining points with all correct answers, including a full name for Rusty Springboard.
It finished:
1= KP 5pts 1= H & J 5pts 3= CraigC 2pts 3= Petem 2pts
Well done everybody, your points will go into the "Quiz-mania" table.
