Windmill G/G 2, Cricketers 3
Clive 3260, Dick the Dude 200 Steve K 3280, Slippery Steve 2220 Paul 2330, Billy Onions 3070 Johnny 2520, Boycie 3300 Graham 1430, Ricky 9880
Table a bit iffy tonight, but Ricky made it look easy in the last game - after he had fluffed his first break shot. A good match against sociable opponents. Good to be back !
Unfortunately no food tonight, for which our apologies (our landlady taken ill - get well soon Bev...) Mr Mike making it up all the way from Littlehampton just to spectate - there's dedication for you !

Alfold SC 2 Rssc 3
Bill 640 Dick 3820 Chaz 1920 John 1220 Malc 1700 Pete 990 Mike 60 Moose 2620 Dave 410 Steve 6060 (break 4300)
Bill and Dick up first . Dick getting to grips with the table a little quicker than Bill. Dick battling away on a tricky top ended with nearly 4k one nil.
Game 2 Chaz and yours truly. 20 mins I'd sooner forget Missed the break ,spun a 50 And probably had another 50 shots to pot a ball to no avail. Couldn't Catch Chaz ,frustrating to say the least.
Pete on next against Malcolm deja vu of previous leg.No more to be Said.
Game 4 Mike and Moose. Lee on and off. Mike couldn't do much better and let Moose in enough times to take the frame.
Final pair Sniffer and Dave. A leg with a bit more sanity Steve playing exceptionally well Including a 4k break somehow made 6 grand and got us out of jail.
A great sociable evening with the Alfold lads on an Interesting table. Highlight of the night was the hairy journey up the 281 Dick doing Miracles driving through a monsoon.

Well, just for a change I'm late on parade...
Mucky Duck 2 Railway 3
Mick 1710 Colin 1630 Porgie 2170 Scott 3620 Sparrow 6520 Dave 1130 Ding 1610 Grant 3010 Steve 810 Lee 1430
Game 1. Both players lost first break, Probably due to rust. Mick pulled out a lead, Colin was a couple of balls short at the end. Game 2. Scott led from the off. Porgie clawing back all the way, only for Scott to pull ahead each time. Game 3. Dave messed up his opener, Colin made it look easy. Game 4. Grant firing them in from all angles tonight. Not so much going Ding's way. Game 5. Early lead from Steve until a thight shot up the middle clipped the black. A few steady visits from Lee towards the end proved enough to take the game and the match.
A rather quirky table on a fun night rounded off with a large helping of filthy weather. Equally hairy for us on the 281.
That said, what an absolute pleasure it was to finally get out, meet up with old mates and have a few games of Billiards. How we have all missed it.
