Some of you will be aware that Geoff had been unwell for some time. It's with sadness that I pass on the news that he died on Saturday.
He was a great team-mate and we'll miss him.

Sad news I was a team mate at the Firemans Arms and Plough in the Lewes league and the Greyhound in Mid Sussex as well as inter league.Will miss him.

Sad news, I got to know Geoff quite well during my time playing in Mid Sussex, lots of chat about our time spent on motorcycles. R I P Geoff

Indeed,  news. A great player and tough opponent - will be greatly missed. A glass was raised in his memory at the beginning of our match last night at The Plough. |

As Jan has said Geoff has been unwell for some time, but still a shock to hear.

Sad news .... I will remember Geoff as a good player and a feisty captain. Condolences to his family and to his Plumpton teammates. RIP Geoff.

Dreadful news. Geoff was a stalwart of the Mid Sussex Interleague team (formerly Mid Sussex B) and I played for Geoff's Lewes League team.
Trevor and I will miss him greatly and we send our sympathies to his family.
