New Witney season and new Comp Secretary

Pleased to announce that the Witney 2021-22 winter season begins tonight after our protracted break from competitive bar billiards. We have been lucky in maintaining our eight teams but had had to resort to a 4 single/2 pairs format as some of our players are either poorly or still feel unsafe in a pub environment. Many thanks to our landlords and committees for keeping the faith and the table!

On a personal note I have retired as Comp Sec after too many years and have been very ably replaced by Gemma Wood who will bring a more youthful approach to the job. If you need Gem's contact details please ask me.
This is also my first season not playing after 55 years - I'm afraid I shall miss it very much although I will still be spectating and moaning!
