Alfold SC 1 Railway 4
Chaz 300 Lee 2740 Malc 520 Grant 3870 Dave 2270 Dave 1770 Garry 1570 Colin 1690 Bill 910 Scott 1780
Game 1: Lee led from the off, nothing going for Chaz. Game 2: Grant led from the off, nothing going for Malc. Game 3: Dave led from the off then hit a wall. Dave slowly but surely caught and overtook. Game 4: Level all the way, thought Garry had cracked it with a 3k but not to be. Last ball finish for Colin Game 5: Scott in front all the way, although Bill caught up midway.
Very pleasant evening in the smartly refurbished Alfold club.

Rssc 1 Cricketers 4
Dick 4430 Bill 2450 Lee 2670 Rick 14860 Ian T 2350 Steve 2630 John 1010 Dick 6670 Pete 620 Brian 8090
First up Dick and Billy. Bill off early gave Dick a chance which he failed to take. plenty of goes without either player getting the upper hand. Dick eventually getting the balls back and making a winning break.
Moose and Ricky on next . Ricky getting hold of the split went of with a fine 9k Break. Lee got the balls back but with time against him broke down .Ricky next to clear the table and added more. Game over.
Frame 3 and a close one. Pretty level between Steve and Ian with plenty of Goes each it came down to the last few balls with Steve nicking it.
Yours truly next against Dick the Dude . Dick off unusually early gave me a chance. A few more goes and I got them back unfortunately I managed to cock up a 10 split. Dick finally made a telling break.
Last but not least Pete and Brian. Pete really struggling with the break "Boycie" made a Couple of good breaks to comfortably take the frame and match.
A lovely evening with the Cricketers lads with Ricky making a season's best Break and score and according to Brian his best score ever.
