With the shortage of venues it may well mean that you will be drawn on a table that you have previously played on.
We are planning to hold a presentation evening in June where we will be awarding the Trophies for all the events this Season. We will combine this with the Singles Final so there will be a chance to support this Final, more details on this will be sent out when we have confirmed the date.
So with Colin in 2 Finals & Jim in possibly 3 finals it's going to be interesting to see how it pans out. The Singles Final & Presentation night will be either 21st or 28th of June at Roffey CC, this will be confirmed shortly.
Open Singles Semi-Finals at the Windmill 01/06/2022:
Dave Howlett 2, Jim Greensted 0.
Bit of a surprise - although Twig has a good record on our table though the same could be said for Jim !
1st game won by Twig (after being put into bat) by 5500-3000.
2nd game the anticipated table playout by Foxy didn't happen, off on less than 2k. Dave overtook to lead by a thousand which still left Jim a good chance. Dave eventually killed it off with some steady 50 play.
