Yes Jim as usual correct typo by me. Well done to Tunbridge Wells on winning the Division One one day event yesterday but looks as though Littlehampton gave them a run for their money. So close TJ but Tunbridge wells won div 2 after being relegated from Division 1 Tunny Wells were indeed expected to win, but by their own admission it was a bit close for comfort: As they entered the last round of matches they needed to beat Billingshurst 11-10 (or better) to be assured of the title. A good day to spectate, extremely well-run by the hardworking Nigel. And thumbs up to the two ladies who helped by selling the raffle tickets. Thanks to Stu for his good work on promptly updating the results on the website.

Yes Tommo, should mention the girls Liz and Sue for doing the raffle, and for all the prizes brought in by the players! 2 days running I won the dairy milk box....

Nice post Nige, but I think we should add Gold stars for Liz Lancaster and Sue Kirwan for doing a splendid job of extracting cash selling raffle tickets. Thanks for all your hard work on the day.

Been pointed out to me that the columns for Games Won and Legs Won are incorrect for some players within the Players Stats. The points won, averages and ranking points all appear correct, just some incorrect figures in those two columns mentioned. I will check them all and upload a correct version this evening.

Adding a bit to Saturday's Ladies Competition, Redhill were too strong for the opposition running out comfortable winners. As Stu said Denise won all her legs and had the highest break of the day with 6390, she certainly was on top form so well done to her Thank you to Stuart Mepham and Alan Brackenridge for their hard work in getting the tables set up and ready for play, as always they offered different challenges. Thank you to Jean for doing the format, working very well with a good break so everyone had time for refreshments, talking of refreshments thank you to the bar staff and to those providing the food for looking after us. There were quite a few new and inexperienced players in the competition and so extra scorers were needed, thank you to the guys who stepped up when required Finally, thank you to Krystal Beck, playing in her first competition for her great help in assisting me with the raffle. Apparently I am "rubbish" at folding the tickets! It was great to see everyone again, hopefully everyone had an enjoyable day

Excellent team performance by Brighton A to win the Division One title yesterday, Nigel was on sensational form (pressure being relieved with the captaincy gone must have helped greatly) Great to have Dave Ingram back and his win against Kevin a big moment in the day, but all players contributing vital points and thanks to all of them for their support on the day

A thoroughly enjoyable day yesterday, great for everyone to have the opportunity to play this event after a gap of two years. Huge thanks to Jean and Silent for their efforts in running the competition and the raffles over the two weekends. And to Stuart for his prompt action on updating the website with the results.

Will add more later when have time with all the thank yous that need given out for all the help yesterday, and over both weekends. As said well done to Brighton on their win. They started as favourites and a big win against Worthing in the third series of matches put them in a strong position which they never looked like losing. Worthing finished a clear second after winning their other three matches. Nigel Senior was unbeaten with a maximum 12 points and was been instructed to mention that the highest break of the day was Matthew Knight with 18610 (think that is right from memory, definitely wasn't 20k!!!!) in his first leg of the day. As normal as massive list of thank yous to the people who put in such hard work to make these events possible: - Jean, Matt and Nigel for running the admin desk across the four days and completing the draws before the events.
- Stuart and Alan for preparing the tables on the days of the events.
- Stuart, Jean, Alan, James and TJ for turning up on Friday afternoon to move the tables into the club.
- Martin, Chris, Ash, Alan H, Jack, Matt and Stuart for staying to take the tables down on Sunday.
- To the club and all of their staff for making us very welcome and providing food and drink.
- To everyone who helped in the raffle
- Finally thank you to all who turned up to play and support these events. As has been said elsewhere it was good to be back playing the One Days after almost two years.
Apologises to anyone I have missed off this list, been a long day and trying to remember as best as I can.

Big thanks to Stuart C for getting all the information onto the web site for those of us that were unable to attend. Good to see many stayed to help Stuart M to get the tables down and onto the van.
