Mid Sussex definitely have a Div 2 side, but I'm currently struggling with the Ladies side. I only have 4 at the moment, but I'll keep trying.

All entries have now been updated.
This leaves us with five teams in Division One and Two, four teams in the Ladies and three teams in the B Teams.
Plan is for all divisions to be played as a round robin with double leg matches, where there is 1 point per leg and 1 point for the aggregate. Due to only three teams in the B Team event they will play each twice, with individuals playing different opponents in the second rotation.
All days will be arrive at 10.30am for matches to start at 11am.
There will be a raffle on each day so please bring prizes if would you like to donate.
Any further questions please let myself or a member of the committee know.
Thanks

Well done to Brighton B convincing winners of the one day inter-league today. Redhill B were runners-up and Worthing B bottom of the pile. Thank you for those who got the tables there, set up and thanks to all that helped run the day. And apologies to my team as their captain did not turn up on the day.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable and well run day yesterday. A massive thanks to the organisers and really enjoyed the format.
One for you statisticians out there. I scored a game in which Brian Muggeridge scored 620 points with a single shot. I wonder if that might be a world record?

I scored a game in which Brian Muggeridge scored 620 points with a single shot. I wonder if that might be a world record? Thank you for your kind words Joe, glad you enjoyed the day Joe also had the best individual performance of the day being the only person to win all 8 legs, top effort Joe Well done to Brighton B on winning the competition, it was fairly comfortable in the end High break of the day broke the 20k barrier with an excellent 20,450 from Jim Greensted, there was also a 16k+ break from Martin Smith, proving there were some very good tables, there were a couple of tricky ones too which was to be expected considering how long they had been on the van. Thanks to Stuart Mepham, Alan Brackenridge, Stuart Carruthers, Tony Jenner, James Whittle and Jean Brackenridge for all their assistance in getting the tables off the van and setting them up for play. Additional thanks also to Jean who came up with a popular format for the day. Thank you to Nigel Senior for helping me on the admin desk Not only was it nice to see everyone again, it was very nice to be back at the club because Mike and his team always look after us so well. Sadly not everyone was back though as one of the ladies who provided us with great food had passed away. It had clearly effected her friend greatly but it did not effect the excellent food provided Hope everyone enjoyed the day

Have to agree we thought the format worked very well and having the scorers nominated as well worked well to keep the day moving along. The club as usual looked after us very well. Always a pleasure to play this day as good to meet up with everyone and always played in a good spirit.

I think Tony is referring to allocated scorers, which meant no waiting around for a reluctant volunteer Helped keep the event ahead of schedule 😉

Yes Jim as usual correct typo by me.
Well done to Tunbridge Wells on winning the Division One Two day event yesterday but looks as though Littlehampton gave them a run for their money.

thanks Stu for putting the results up so quickly. Short report on the day.... Star studded Tunbridge Wells won promotion to division 1, but Littlehampton ran them close being only 3 points behind at the final reckoning. Both favourites started well and after two matches Littlhampton were 4 points in front of Tunbridge, 30 points to 26. Tunbridge sat out series 3 and Littlehampton extended their lead to 16 points with a 12-9 win over Mid Sussex. The teams played each other in series 4 and Littlehapton took a 5-4 lead at the break, but top guns Paul, Gerry and Curt took 8 out of 9 points in the 2nd half so despite Chris Lawman beat Marin Russel 2-1 the match score ended 13-8 to Tunbridge This left Tunbridge needing 11 points in their final match against Billingshurst and they duly won that 14-7. Billingshurst held onto 3rd place on match wins from Lewes, Mid Sussex finished last but still managed a decent haul of 31 points. Colin Southouse survived tricky table 3 and trickier Ros Appleby in the last series to win all 12 points for his team. Paul Sainsbury hit the days highest break of 18,110 plus highest average of 10,996, only a last ball leg win by Phil Oakley stopped him being unbeaten too. So Paul got 11 points, matched by teammate Curt Driver (his lost leg to Chase Newman by just 10) Thanks to the club for hosting and the players for being patient after my detour to Three Bridges that morning In the naughty corner was Paul Moyes Robb who made 3 incorrect queries, one about a black peg being knocked over with a cue being a foul (I didnt give him the ruling he wanted to hear), the other telling me it was a Littlehampton scorer required when it was Mid sussex as it was his first break, and the final one querying Colin Green playing for Littlehampton which was allowed as he was subbing for Steve Beach who done his back after winning his first 4 legs (so I guess he was unbeaten too) Joining Paul has to be Peter Payne, always in the toilet when due to play and Dave Hampton, always at the bar when due to play. Gold star (and not in the naughty corner this time) is Paul Sainsbury for stepping into to score a Lewes game when Chase decided to have lunch the game before Lewes' bye A good day, looking forward to the ladies and Division 1 next weekend
