(in order played) Clive 7900, Ding 1770 Mick H 5540, Porgy 4650 Paul 3870, Mick J 2450 Steve K 5750, Steve H 2330 Johnny 2000, Sparrow 6040 Windmill G/G 4, Mucky Duck 1
Our pub currently undergoing refurbishment so apologies for the spartan conditions. At least it was well ventilated ! Our opponents put up a spirited resistance and two games in particular were close: the result could easily have gone against us. Impressive performance from Sparrow in the last game.

Rssc 3 Railway 2
Moose 6540 Lee 940 Steve 3740 Dave 5570 Pete 4020 Scott 5550 John 5900 Colin 2170 Dick 3510 Grant 2720
First up Moose and Lee. Lee missing the break gave Moose a good early chance., but the game got bogged down With plenty of goes. Eventually Moose found a bit of form and a couple of steady breaks saw him home . Dave and Sniffer on next. Dave with 2k to start gave him an early lead but Steve managed to get the balls back and Caught Dave. Plenty of goes at the top of the table kept it pretty even. Dave next to get the balls back steadily forged ahead but Steve had one last chance but broke down. Dave then wrapped it up.
Scott on third against Pete and a very similar game to the previous leg. A very even game could have gone either way. Scott with a telling score at the end gave him the win.
Colin and yours on four with Colin over trained potting it 4 times. A perfect opening chance for me but off on 2k. A few goes each before I got the balls back and made enough.
Last but not least Dick and Grant on for the decider. Both player's struggling a bit made for a close contest. Tit for tat Till Dick made a break at the death.
A nice evening with the Railway lads rounded off with a sausage casserole.
