Railway 4 Alfold SC 1
Grant 3100 Kelly 1400 Stuart 1060 Dave 1480 Lee 2090 Malcolm 2040 Dave 5300 Bill 930 Scott 2370 Mike 940
Game 1: Kelly off early, Grant led for the rest of the game. Game 2: A mess up with the timer meant a short game here. Dave too far ahead for Pops to catch. Game 3: An early mistake from Malc gave Lee an early lead. Malc caught up and overtook but Lee snatched it back with a 200 finish. Game 4: An early lead for Dave then scrappy as Bill looking to catch up. Mid game, Dave cleared the table and pulled out a couple of breaks to make the game safe. Game 5: Bit of a disjointed game, Scott doing enough to keep Mike off the table.
An enjoyable evening with the Alfold team rounded off with a tasty stew, thanks Nathan.😋

Team cup Preliminary round played at Roffey cc.
Rssc 1 Cricketers 4
John 1460 Ricky 11010 Moose 1180 Steve 5160 Pete 3240 Bill 1330 Steve 2170 Junkie 5910 Dick 1850 Brian 5640
First up me and Ricky. Off with the break and going ok till my first 10 split dived right and I was off. Rick on and compensating made a superb 8k and touch. A couple of shots and rick Got them back again and played it out.
Next on Moose and Steve and neither making good starts. Plenty of shots and pegs till Steve got his head down and made a match winning break.
Last chance saloon for us Pete and Billy. Tense opening with both players struggling to Get going . Pete eventually making enough to take our first frame.
As predicted by Junkie hes drawn Sniffer. Junkie off with the break on his own top grafted Out a steady opening break. Sniffer on leaving the break well short " Disaster ". The Scrappy Said thankyou and a few more was enough for frame and match.
Last up dead leg Dick and Boycie. Dick off early but Brian the same things pretty level. Plenty of goes till eventually Brian next to get the balls back and a good 3k was enough.
A fun evening with the cricks lads which they fully deserved to win. Top a bit hard work at times apart from Rick's antics. Junkie wont let this one go plenty of mileage in this Victory Roll on the plate!!
