Worthing A 4-3 Brighton A
**Stuart Mepham 9460 - 2440 Chris Tupper Gareth Cornford 4970 - 2380 Bob Hall** Alan Mepham 930 - 9350 Phil Osborne** **Mike Daw 4510 - 5600 Nigel Senior Kevin Tunstall 90 - 8950 Jim Millward** Terry Molloy 5700 - 4650 Dave Ingram** **Martin Smith 10,560 - 4380 Matthew Knight
Strange match which went one way and then the other. Unusually there were plenty of opportunities for most, that was until the last leg when Martin made an excellent break to win it for the hosts. Well done to them on their win

A good evening with Littlehampton with plenty of friendly banter, a strange game that could have gone either way with plenty of chances in most games. Pete caught the break too thin sinking only one ball, but had fouled playing the red and white round the wrong way, James break back off at 850, Pete balls back of at 1k and then James getting the better of Pete in a very scrappy game. Steve off early and then both he and Gary struggled but Gary using his experience and know how to build a winning lead so Worthing back in it. Chris off at about 1.5k, Dave balls back off at 1k, Chris break back off at 1k but next time settled down and made sure with 5k break and touch. Brian opened with 2.5 k and then neither he or Colin could get the break back until Colin did so near the end but ran out of time. Thanks to Brian for standing in at short notice and Worthing once again level. Steve and Rick giving each other plenty of chances and Steve in the end taking them better. 3-2 Littlehampton. John pegged opening 1k+, I got them back and touched on 7k making sure we went to the decider. Steve of 1t 1.4k, Dave balls back and pegged 1.5k , Dave having no luck at the top of the table and Steve kept adding to his score and bringing home the win for Worthing. Thank you to Heather for the sandwiches and to the young lady behind the bar who looked after us very well.

Two very close games that went to the wire, with Lewes scraping home. Colin went off in the 4th game with 5K, but Michael fought back with a good break before Colin played out to secure the victory.

Hi all As Tony posted a nice evening as usual with the Tunbridge lads with plenty of fun and friendly banter and a Ggreat result for us. Geoff as usual out of the traps first and steady opening break enough to win opener. Tony on 2nd against the break v Curt. Surprisingly Curt of early and tony 8k and touch. Me and fitz on next . Fitz grafting 4k break then black. Eventually I got the balls back 3k and off fitz just Enough time just to catch me. Dave on with break against Kyle. Faultless 9k and touch. Break back again 6k more. Dc and Rich on 5. Rich of early but Dave struggling Rich got a lead. DC going well lost 3k frame over. Sue subbing for Gary against Ian. Steady leg from Ian enough 3-3. Pressure leg Colin and Paul. Col of early but Paul couldn't get them back. Second chance enough for Colin 7k and touch for a great win. Puts the cat amongst the pigeons depending on results Brighton, Tunbridge or Redhill could still take The title. Only 3 matches to go Brighton in the box seat could go to legs won or even total score!!
