The result rather belies the toughness of this match:
The two 'H' men continued their good recent form to give us the best possible start;
Then a battle royal between Steve King and Noggs which was decided on the last ball.
I had the benefit of the break and only went off with 1800. Nobby overtook me in style and despair was just setting in when he allowed me a second visit which I gratefully accepted.........If Nobby had had the break: who knows ?
Finally Paul and Sandsy traded blows with Paul finally settling down and able to maintain a thousand lead.

Our thanks to our opponents for a nice evening. Good to see Nobby back in the fold.

First up Ricky with the break against Pete and what an opening leg. Rick off to an express 10 grand break 
Not missing a split. It could have been a massive break but Rick touched on 10k. 5 mins messing about and
Rick got the balls back at flew in another 6k.

Game 2 Sniffer and Boycie. Steve off with a steady 3k and another 2k gave him a good lead
and Brian had few chances as Steve ran out an easy winner. 

Third up yours truly and my Redhll teammate and buddy (had to be)Junkies break and off relatively early and a
Chance. Disappointing off on 3k and a bit scrappy chasing balls around. Junkie next to get them back ground
Out a slow 5k. I did have time to make a quick 2k but the bar was due.

Next Dick C with the break against Dick D. Tricky this one Dick made a few Dick replied with a few then Dick
Sneaked it at the end.

Last but not least Moose and Billy. Billy off early and Moose in with a useful 4k and with Billy struggling 
One more good break and he sneaked past ten grand 3-2.

A lovely evening as always with the Cricketers lads. Pete didn't get much of a last game go (methinks rick could 
Have made 20k).3pts gives us runner's up and congratulations to the Windmill on the title.

Not sure about your match win though as I make it the Cricks won unless the two Dick scores were round the other way !
