So an interesting night out playing bar billiards at Rose & Crown in Elham. Found an interesting table which looks like it has a French clock. The table has marks around the table to suggest it is made by W Jelks & Sons with a number of 261/3/63. Clock runs at about 11 minutes but the best bit is that it takes a one shilling or a New 5P coin. The table itself runs flat but with a very slow cloth. The pockets are easy to miss with roll outs but pot well if hit true. Needs a new D. The landlord (John) has only been in for 4 days but was fascinated about the table and the history behind it and the game.

Table is from Ivor Champion of Stelling Minnis.
Have you tried the Cat And Custard Pot of late? no clock in that table last time I was there.

Last time I saw it, the table at The Cat was awful. It' was on wheels so they can move it for food tables
