Kent Open 26th March goes head to head with the  World Four Pin in Sudbury.

Sudbury are tied to that weekend in March by Masonic Hall availability.

Presumably East Anglian / World Four-Pin is on the Saturday (25th) although it hadn't been confirmed on here yet ?

Well, that caught me out !

Are we starting to use the calendar again ?

Only I seem to recall there were a lot of problems with it in the past.

Calendar has always worked.

The additional countdown news slider display for the last month  or so before an event stopped working over a year ago and the creator has disappeared down the 'Swanny'

Agree that the facility has always been there but in practice the calendar only works as it should if there are people dedicated to populating it and keeping it up to date.

Back on topic,  I wonder if Kent organisers are aware of the clash with the Suffolk weekend when they will be staging the 2nd World 4-Pin Open?

Admittedly it would not affect table hire as Suffolk use their own (narrow) set, but a few players like myself will probably have to miss the Kent as Kent are moving backwards a week and we will have already committed to supporting 4-Pin.


* As at 28/1/23, Suffolk have 63 entries (1 place remaining) and Kent just 17.   QED.
