Cricketers 0, Windmill GG 5 at Roffey CC Dick 1290, Steve 3320 Bill 1640, Mick 3220 Brian 2090, Clive 4800 Ricky 2090, Johnny 5570 Junkie v Paul - awarded to Paul as w/o So Windmill win the League/Cup double  Thanks to our opponents for a sporting evening. Match followed by a presentation of sorts.  The Cricketers with the Team Cup Runners-up cup, with Ricky holding the Highest Break and Highest Score awards (l to r: Bill Hammond, Ricky, Brian Goodchild (capt), Dick the Dude) Missing from the pic John Miller who by this time had absconded ! |

A really good win for Windmill GG, thanks JT for coming along with cups & shield and volunteering for a game
with yours truly: this was a genuine "friendly" including 3K gentleperson's. All good practice for the assorted
one-dayers coming up at RSSC (Sussex open, off the spot, etc), see some of us there.

.......thanks JT for coming along with cups & shield ...... Shield was handed over in a bit of a sorry state (centre plate hanging off)   "Before" and "after" pictures above. "After" = Pledge furniture polish; Goddard's silver foam; Tommo elbow grease; centrepiece re-affixed with 10mm panel pins. Can now see your face in it....good for another 50 years ! |
