Sad news Kev, played Steve many times over the years, he was always a tricky player to play against.
He just recently had a great finals night in Brighton playing in 3 finals, winning 2.
My thoughts are with Kim, Liam and the rest of their family.

to receive the news from Kim overnight that Steve had passed away. A few of us went to see him and Kim last week and we were grateful to have the opportunity to do so. We took his and Liam's trophies that they won on Brighton Finals Night, it was obvious Steve was in a lot of pain that night but to win two competitions and finish runner-up in one was a quite incredible achievement. It is almost impossible to believe that was only 2 months ago Condolences to Kim, Liam and family Steve's funeral will be held at Downs Crematorium on Wednesday 20th July starting at 3.00pm

It is so so sad to hear that Steve has recently passed away. Steve made a major impact on our inter league team last season and his performances made a significant contribution in helping the team win the Division 2 title.
Our sincere condolences to Kim and the family.
God bless you Steve and thank you for all your efforts. From us all at the Littlehampton Bar Billiards League.

I played with Steve in Worthing league and Brighton interleague and he was a gent and someone I could call a friend. He was passionate about the game and was always a tough opponent, when played against. Highlight for me was an excellent break this season against Jim at the stag still showed how much talent he had even when struggling you are going to be missed
And condolences to Kim and Liam

An amazing turnout, standing room only, to celebrate Steve's life this afternoon. A fitting service and the sight of his work colleagues driving their vans along Warren Road was something to behold. Many bar billiard players attended and I know that Kim was very grateful to everyone
