Any “Bottom” fans out there ? You know, the bad taste comedy starring Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson ? Anyways, here’s 14 questions on that particular classic :
1 What is Eddie’s surname ? 2 In “S’Out” what do Richie and Eddie pull out from the lake apart from the fish ? 3 On “Live tour 2” what do the boys plan to use in order to get The Queen’s attention ? 4 In “Live Tour 2” what is Eddy’s blow-up doll called ? 5 In the one where Eddie plays “Death” (he dresses as the Grim Reaper), what magazine does "Reaper" Eddie request from Richie in order to spare him ? 6 In “Holy”, which part of Richie’s anatomy was injured ? 7 In “Parade”, what was the name of the Police Inspector conducting the line-up for the Identity Parade ? 8 What was the name of the horse they were able to bet on in exchange for the wooden leg ? 9 When Richie and Eddie take over a shop, what does Richie use as suntan cream ? 10 In the same episode, what does Richie claim is Eddie’s favourite sandwich filler ? 11 In “Holligan’s Island”, what is the name of the parrot ? 12 In “Holy”, what does Dave Hedgehog say the name of his wife is ? 13 In “Culture” what is strange about the nibbles that Eddie and Richie use as accompaniment for their game of Chess? 14 In the live tour based on the lavatory backdrop, what did Richie’s uncle leave him in his will ?
Good luck, true Bottom fans !

Good answers, Milhouse. 1) already had, but 0.5 bonus for full name. 3) a Semtex firework actually, but you got the general idea. 1pt 4) Les as in 'Lessie' of course - correct, 1pt 8) Sad Ken - correct, 1pt 14) answer I had was 'the elixir of life' - but i do recall there was a large debt as well, so 1pt. 5) "Girly World" actually, but close enough for 0.5pts
Leaderboard: 1. Milhouse 5pts 2. Wolfman 1pt

2. A condom. Eddie: Have you caught anything yet? Richie: [lifting up a condom] Yes, I think I very probably have caught something, Eddie. It's quite a love nest around here, you know.
7. Grobbelaar. I think "Right then gentlemen, if you'd like to form a line we'll bring the suspect in." Richie: "Right, and then we all fall on him and give him a good kicking, do we?" Policeman: "No sir, we have to let the witness identify him." Richie: "What? Oh, oh yeah, that's right, that's right. Good policing."
9. Salad Cream.
12. Susan. "What, is it Christmas? Today? Oh, Merry Christmas then. That must be why that woman gave me that after-shave this morning." Eddie: "What woman?" Hedgehog: "Oh, you know, that old woman who keeps hanging around the place. You know Eddie, what's her name, my wife. Andrea. No no, Avril, that's it. No, what am I thinking of, Susan! That's the one."

6 - His Knackers ? 10 - Cheese and Pickle. 11 - The Archbishop of Canterbury 6 not right Milhouse, this had blood spurting up and it weren't his knackers. 10. I'm going to give this one, although the correct answer is "Pickled Onion". You must be confusing Eddie with CraigC, and on that basis I'm obliged let CraigC share the point so you get a half each. :o 11. Not correct, it was a simple name of four letters. You take a share of the lead, though. Leaderboard: 1. Sir Jock'o'the Strap 5.5pts 2. Milhouse 5.5pts 3. Wolfman 1pt 4. CraigC 0.5pts Left to get : 6,11,13.

Enough already ! Time to close the low-brow stuff 'cos tommo has some really high-brow ones in the pipeline. Will be closing the doors on the Phoenix Nights one tonight also.
The ones that got away: 6. Richie accidentally chopped his index finger off. 11. The parrot's name (you'd think something like Cap'n Flint, wouldn't you?) was "Dave". 13. The nibbles Richie painstakingly prepared were Twiglets. But they were a home-made version, straight off the tree with branches hanging just outside the window, and dipped in brown sauce. :)
Quiz complete. Final positions: 1= Sir Jock'o'the Strap 5.5pts 1= Milhouse 5.5pts 3. Wolfman 1pt 4. CraigC 0.5pts
