"Mucky Duck stay top" Mucky Duck 3, Windmill GG 2 Ding 4460, Johnny 1660 Sparrow 3050, Paul 1450 Porge 5610, Graham 1890 The first 3 games not without incident (ball moved off the spot for Johnny; Sparrow BP'd when going for a ball up the middle; and a nervous miscue from Graham) but the Duck were well worth their lead, having outscored us by +-10k and at this stage we were staring down the barrel of a 0-5 defeat ! Mick 520, Clive 5350 Steve H 2320, Steve K 4010 ....so disaster averted. A pleasant evening spent with the Mucky ones, capped with choice of three pizzas (Margarita, Fiery and Pepperoni). Nom nom!

Rssc 3 Railway 2
Steve 1670 ,Scott 5740 Pete 5350 Carl 520 Dick 4350 Lee 1970 John 9800 Colin 670 Twig 1630 Grant 2310
Game 3 played first Dick and Lee. Lee off early gave Dick a quick chance and he made 2k. The game then got a bit scrappy before Dick got the balls back and added another 2k to take the leg.
Next on Steve and Scott. Scott playing confidently broke off with the best part of 4k put Steve under pressure . Plenty of goes each and Sniffer not having much luck. Scott next to clear the table and added some more to Run out a good winner. 1-1
Pete and Carl up next. Pete with an early chance made the most and took a good lead. Carl having no luck at all was struggling and one more good break was all Pete needed to seal the frame.
Game 4 yours truly and Colin. Colin leaving the break short gave me a good opportunity and I made 4k break. A few more goes each and Colin got the balls back only to go 4 down and Happy Birthday I thought. Another 3k break and a few later on gave me the match.
Last but not least Grant and Twig. A very scrappy leg with plenty of goes and a few pegs. Nobody really getting to grips with the top. Grant just doing enough to stay in front and make it 3-2.
A smashing evening with the Railway lads rounded off with a lovely chicken curry.
