Ladies and gents, one of the reasons for joining the forum was to see if I could get any help and advice from you knowledgeable people. In around 2013 I moved to a new house in Lincolnshire with a large conservatory and decided it was time to get back into Bar Billiards, which I hadn't played since my teenage years in Penrith. I bought a beautifully reconditioned Jelks table from Ivor Champion and set it up in the conservatory as per the picture. Since then I have come to realise that a conservatory is far from an ideal location for the table as the glass ceiling has caused bleaching of the cloth, burning of the white hole identification labels and even bleaching of the wood colouring. Having now bitten the bullet and got the roof replaced with a solid roof I decided it was time to get the table recovered. Unfortunately Mr Champion does not travel as much nowadays so he is unable to assist but put me on to Mr Peter Ludgate at Hubble Sports. The challenge there is that Mr Ludgate is so far away that the transport costs take the total estimate to nearly £800.00, which is out of our range at the moment. My question is therefore whether anyone here might know of a reputable business that is significantly closer to me in Lincolnshire, who might be able to help me recover the table. Ideally doing the job on site would be the best scenario but, if the table has to be transported at least the transport costs can be minimised. Any help would be very much appreciated. I have made a couple of suggestions by email but options are limited.

I have seen some awful jobs by companies that do mainly pool tables so beware. Most tables these days are recovered by the owners/users - because they have the time and self-interest to do it properly, results are generally better.
Anyone with reasonable levels of DIY ability should be able to do a good job but I realise this is not an option for many.
