A very eventful journey to BHCC for all concerned! I haven't seen rain and flooding like that since the Great Flood (no, not the one with Noah! - I mean when Lewes flooded). Unfortunately the Nomads could only field four players, so yours truly had to play twice. Some very close games and some not so close, resulting in a 4-1 victory for the home side. As Ros said, some revenge for the Charity Cup result ;-) Lovely spread of rolls, ham, cheese, salad etc, etc. Thanks for an enjoyable evening of billiards.

Everyone did well to get to the matches last night the roads to Hassocks were dreadful & reports of roads closed everywhere.

Blimey Dave, which way did you get home. We were at Burgess Hill so had to come past Hassocks. The roads were surprisingly clear, more so than on the way up. We got home in 25 minutes, as usual.

Plough 5 Hassocks Millers 0
The Millers only had 3 players so the 4 player rule was used & Jan had the walkover. Given that both teams had turned up in such bad weather the correct thing was done & the match was played.
