Windmill GG 4, Cricketers 1 Johnny 5140, Ricky 4640 (Ricky made the early running but a late 2.8k break by Johnny put him 400 ahead with the bar due. Balls left were awkward and Johnny got another go and despatched the red ball for a surprise win) Paul 1220, Mick C 6980 (a cultured performance from Clacky, went off with loads and kept adding throughout) Mick H 5410, Billy 3700 (at one stage Billy was looking good for the win, but two breaks of 1k by Mick late in the game put paid to his chances) Graham 5870, Brian 1600 (good attacking game from Graham, not much going for Boycie) Steve 7580, Dick 1740 (Steve enjoying the table which was 'faster than last night', Dick always up against it)
Has to count as a good result for us, the visitors having outscored us over the first three games. The Cricks magnanimous in defeat, our thanks to them for a pleasant and sociable evening.

Alfold Sc 2 Rscc 3
Kelly 510 John 6330 Mlike 1610 Dick 740 Bill 1560 Pete 3840 Chaz 1590 Twig 1530 Dave 790 John 3230 (4 player )
First up Kelly and Yours truly. On and off with only a few hundred not a great start. Lots of goes with not much going Down table got bogged down and a bit of a struggle. Eventually I got them back and sorted things out and made 4k break To win the leg.
Game 2 Mike and Dick and another right scrap Dick on and off Mike kept chipping away and bit by bit got a lead. Plenty of Goes and pegs ensued but Mike kept his nose in front to win 1-1.
Next up Bill and Pete Deja vous. Pete kept getting the balls back but breaking down. Bill not having much luck Pete Eeventually making a 2k break whilch proved enough for the win.
Captain Twig and Chaz and yet another close one. Chaz playing pretty well kept his nose in front and Dave getting more Frustrted couldn't pot a ball. Chaz making a few at the death to nick it 2-2
Last up Me And Dave. Myself on 4th player rule Dave's break . Again a starting struggle with umpteen goes and balls all over the place with most of them in the middle. Dave played really well to clear them all but one nasty one up The middle. Next shot to tight and very unlucky black. Not long to go I got them back and made enough. Out of Jail just.
A fun evening with the Alfold gang as always. Fair play to Dave and the team for they have just had the top recovered at The clubs cost. It is settling down and with a bit of work on the pockets and a bit of a tweak it will be a nice top.
