Result from Northants A v High Wycombe B was 5-5 with Northants just winning on aggregate by less than 1000!

Great game and company played in the right spirit as always!

Another close game that came down to the final few moments, another 30 seconds and High Wycombe probably would have taken the win.

Witney beat Wycombe A 6-4 in the quarter finals and Reading A 6-4 in the semi final

Witney therefore progress to the final

Northants v Oxford second leg will be played on 18th December. Currently 3-2 to Northants.

Final will have to be played early 2024 before we start the new competition.

Just in case Witney are wondering who they are playing in the final I can tell them that Northants A won both legs against Oxford A 3-2 for a 6-4 agg win.

First leg of the final was played at the Red Lion in Cressington, and the score was Witney 3-2 Northampton A.

Paul Laithwaite won the first before Andy Chambers had a go, so a good start from Reading but then Stephen Coleman & Jason Neal did the same for Northampton in Legs 2 & 3 against Roger Bowen & Jon Bamsey. Leg 4 was a close one between Kevin Bull & Damian Coates, Damian was behind with around 4 to go, got back level and then just before the bar went hit a split thick and allowed Kevin back in. Kevin took the leg to make it 2-2. In the final leg Simon Coleman struggled to get going and Witney took the win 3-2 but not alot of difference in the Aggregate.

Still all to play for with second leg planned for 19th February at Rushden Conservative Club.
