Some close games (Paul BP on the last ball) but Roffey well worth their win.
Best wishes to Dick Cable, recovering from what looks like a painful condition.

First up me and Mick and my first break. Going along ok till caught out on left 50. Balls back and  Mick off with 2k but same fate on the 50.
The game developed into small breaks each until mick cleared the balls and grafted out another good break and happy to tap up and hold
Them. Time running short I got them back one last time and played it out to take the leg.

Two skipper's  on next Clive and Twig. Clive on but off early gave Twig a chance . not to be. The  game got bogged down with awkward 
Balls all over the place. Twig getting to grips with the top and with Clive having no luck one more steady break was enough 2-0.

Pete and Johnny on third. Again Pete off early but Johnny unable to take advantage. Once more a struggle on a tricky top tonight ensued 
But Johnny with some good play forged a match winning lead. 

Game 4 and Paul and Moose. Paul playing  some steady stuff forged a good lead and with Moose looking very frustrated the leg was looking 
Ggood for Paul. Moose at last got the balls back and a terrific  last ditch break nicked the lead. Bar down and things really tight Paul  needed
A last ball 200 for the win. Very close but clipped the black.

Last but not least Sniffer and Mick back on 4th player. A dead leg as such but a real steady game by Steve ran out a good winner .


A good win for us to take the points but as Clive said some close games with Windmill missing Steve and graham. Table a bit
Tricky tonight but still all to play for.

Game 1: Chelsea off early let an eager Scott in. A solid performance including a 3k.
Game 2: scores level early on, a late break from JT enough to take the frame.
Game 3: A battle of the Dave's chalked another frame to the Railway.
Game 4: It was Jimima's £1 and he wasn't letting Colin have any of it!
Game 5: An odd sort of game for the decider. Early lead by Noggs pegged, scrappy in the middle then clawed back by Boggs towards the end. Nothing much going for Lee.

Pleasant evening at RSSC with plenty of banter. Roffey's blue table proved very playable but still with some interesting quirks.

Probably not been touched since it was put in will need a tweak as Probably settled !!!

Hi all
Thanks Clive  for your comment. Me and Moose gave the top a good brush and clean last
Weds before the cup match and I have given the top a tweak. Looks like it played  pretty well.
Be interesting to see how yourself and Michael tackle it week Thursday.  Watch this space.

Still think Jim needs a drug test keep knocking in these scores!!
