Today I went to see a table a local famaily has in their home to see if I can help repair it. I wasn't sure what to expect but this is what I found. Snookerette Ltd, C Poundsbery & Co, Brighton & Hove It has ribbed quick drop pockets which are all chipped or broken, and I'll be surprised if they don't fall apart when removed, and some green tape that appears to denote the baulk line. Recovering looks straight forward although the pockets are held in with glue and not plaster. Has a working clock that takes a sixpence Anyone got any experiance and info for these tables, and whats the chance of finding a complete set of ribbed pockets?

What you have there is an authentic narrow table (Snookerette was prevalent in the Fens and East Anglia)
I hadn't realised that there was a manufacturer based in Sussex.
A great bit of history there.
Taffy and/or AlanTurner might be able to advise on replacement pockets.

Snookerette, of course, only applies to the clock.
Poundsbery of Brighton might have made the table or just refurbished/rented it out at some point, never heard of them either. Many Jelks are thought to be Bar Billiards Ltd tables for the same reason, I guess we will never know.
Re ribbed pockets, I've a feeling there might have been a few in the mountain of spares we sold to Taff, worth asking.
Still an interesting find,
