Group 3 looks good I'm just wondering if I will ever be drawn in the afternoon sessions.

We are using the Website that we use for the Summer League to run the tournament. All matches with timings will be on there throughout the day. To access it go to sbbasl.leaguerepublic.com/index.htmlIf you go into the Matches Tab you can then see all fixtures and if you change the Team section to your own name you’ll see when your fixtures are. Ignore the venue for now as I’m tinkering with that. Group Tables and knockout draws can be found my going to Competitons then clicking on the World Championship tag. This is being updated throughout the next day or so, but should be complete soon. Any issues, please let me know. Steve

Slee gets the guy in the red dress again. Maybe he’ll try and out do him this year?

Maybe he’ll try and out do him this year? Well, they've both got beards, but that's where the similarity ends.

just a few reminders. Even though parking is still, as far as I know, free, you will need to get a ticket from one of the machines. I believe the tickets are valid for three hours and you don't need one after noon on a Saturday, but please check.
The Masonic Hall will be open from around 9 on the Saturday morning with teas, coffees and breakfast rolls available. Please try to arrive in plenty of time to register and remember the morning session, groups 1-8 starts at 10-30. If you are running late please try to let us know, either on here or by text message to 07896292585, The A12 is was full of roadworks when I travelled on it a couple days ago.
If you are playing in the blind doubles on the Friday we need to start play by 7pm at the latest so please do your best to be there early and by 6-30pm the latest to allow time for the draw etc.
if any of you are around on the Friday day time we will be at the venue from around 10am setting up and as always any help will be gratefully appreciated, or you may wish to stand around and take note of just how many beers are needed to set the weekend up. unfortunately Jim Balchin has already volunteered to be in charge of quality control and check all the beers out.
On a final note, don't forget this is a fun tournament and as always we will be raising money for the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service, SARS, so any donations of raffle prizes or items we can auction off will appreciated and please dig deep into your pockets and help us raise as much money as possible. Members from SARS will be around all day and happy to chat and explain in as much detail as you want about the life saving work they do.
See you all in less than a couple of weeks
Dave
