Stag C v Duke of wellie
Stuart 15400 v Mick 2030 Jim 9190 V Kt 10660 Boball 7530 v Tupper 6080 Grant 15010 V Colin 90 Kev 3180 Dave 9370
Game 1 Stuart on first and was not gonna miss he had 7 holes at the back to aim for and they would either go in the 100-10-20-30 all the way to a solid 10k and touch a pure masterclass of playing the stag table giving Micky no chance at all and then first to get them back to add another 4.5k before mick finished it off
Game 2 some would say the game of the night I disagree Kt goes off with his 10660 and Jim could only reply with 9190 lol one go each an excellent leg
Game 3 Definitely game of the night we knew we needed a game against the break so up steps boball el-capitano against stag b player on a Thursday tupps Tupps off on a steady 5k and boball went to the table knowing it was a must clear opportunity and so he did clearing up and going about the chase once boball had passed the score he duly touched up on 7.5k to give us a 2-1 lead and still a slither of back to back league titles
Game 4 Grant as always mister dependable and he went off with a steady 8k he would say wasn’t his fluent best but did what was needed Colin had one go didn’t get them back and grant played the rest of the table out to give us the match
Game 5 Dave is usually the master of a table but it took him 3 breaks to amass his score but he is the master at leaving them awkward for chunky and with some great shots still couldn’t get them back till it was too late
An excellent evening with the DOW team and a fun night lots of banter and some lovely sarnies to finish off
Oh and boball won the footy card thank you Newcastle

Blue Anchor 5-0 Caxton Tony Jenner 7420 - 510 Shaun Oxley** Chris Cox 7610 - 1070 Dayle Ledbury** Rick Cunningham 9460 - 5530 John Perrin** Joe Oakley 7790 - 1860 Peter Gwilliam** Matthew Knight 10,840 - 1760 Paul Bramhall** Comfortable win for the league leaders, leg 3 the best of the night with Reg going off with close to 4k, Rick getting them straight back and making an excellent 9k and touch. OK. Sorry I'm late. Was one hell of a day yesterday and not only that, I forgot. So here are the scores of the MSC v Bevy (ooooo! this is just like the Eurovision Song Contest) As Kevin said. Moulscoomb Club 3 - 2 Bevy
Tim 1510 - 7900 Kevin Dave 2870 - BP Ellis Martin 2070 - 2280 Doug Phil 5260 - 280 Ash Colin 6020 - BP Brian
Tim started quite well but then Kevin got stupid with a 5450 break which gave Tim no chance of getting back. 0-1 Ellis missed the break which gave Dave the chance to get in front and Ellis was playing catch up. With no chance of winning, the 200 beckoned but the black went over. 1-1 This was the closest game with both taking the lead by a few points with Doug leading as a the bar went. Martin tried to keep the red up (didn't need to) but it didn't come off and it left Doug with the task of clearing up the last few balls for the win. 1-2 I swapped the last 2 players round as I guessed what Kevin was going to do. Ash struggled all the way through and with a decent first break, it was really no contest. 2-2 All down the Colin v Brian. Brian started well but then Colin got the break back a couple of times and Brian was too far behind to win so, again, the 200 beckoned and again the black fell. 3-2 Brilliant night with pizza and chips (what else?) and lots of banter. Thanks guys and sorry, again, for being late
