Thanks to all of you that turned up last night.
We presented a cheque for £660.05p to the Hospice last night & thanks to Wendy for coming along with the big cheque.
The money donated came from the collecting boxes as well as the share of the proceeds of last year's event. This is a fantastic amount raised by everybody & will help the Hospice.
Last night we raised a further £374 including £158 from the raffle this will be split between the League & the Hospice so again thank you for your support.
I'm going through the photos taken on the night and if anyone would like me to send them on then please let me know.
Thanks to Derek Taylor for his hard work putting the night together & putting on a good quiz with 2 picture rounds & 2 general knowledge rounds which tested all. There was a draw for first place so each team had to nominate a representative & after 2 tiebreak questions it was still level so it was decided to leave it a draw between The Plough & BHCC. Thanks also to Chris & his staff at the Hassocks for looking after us so well.
