It has come to my attention that one of the great stalwarts of the Wallingford league, Pete ‘spot’ Lee passed away last Monday the 10th. Can’t believe nobody has put anything up on the forum. One of the most popular people in Bar Billiards when the league was still active. We had some great nights with his team, Dennis, Welchy, Alan Stacey, etc etc. I know he will be sorely missed by all his family and close friends. Condolences to all of them. RIP Spot. Love Kev & Hayley

Pete was and always will be my most favourite person in Bar Billiards - you could not have met a more perfect gentleman.
Always there to give me a big hug when I saw him - such sad news.
Sending love to all his family.

Pete was always a great ambassador for Wallingford, cheerful and smiling and liked by all. It's sad that the Wallingford league has disappeared and there is no one left to tell us of these sad events.
RIP Pete, you will always be remembered with a smile and I personally recall some epic battles with you in the days when I could play properly. A great man and a great player. My condolences to his family and friends.

Dreadful news. He hung up his cue right after I started playing but always turned up to watch some Wallingford games. Absolute local legend in his playing days and thereafter.
RIP Spotty
