Hi,
I am marking out my table top and looked up the sizes, positions etc on the AEBBA website.
In the 'How to Play' area, rule 66 of the 3-Pin Bar Billiards Table Playing Conditions states:-
66) A "D" shall be firmly fixed to the table in the centre of the base of the playing
area. This should be approximately 4 cm radius and the centre of the "D" shall be
clearly marked with a spot, to be known as the break spot.
Looking at various pictures of tables, and thinking about ones I have played on, a 4cm radius seems a bit big - the D looks much smaller than this.
Can anyone confirm this size is correct - to be honest, a 4cm diameter looks more the right size?
Many thanks in advance
James

4cm radius is a tad over 1½ inches radius and that is correct for matchplay.
A 'D' is about three inches across in old money
