The rules of the competition are:-
A team shall consist of five players registered for that League team
The first named team is the 'home' team and the order of play shall be drawn for in the normal way
The home team has breaks 2 and 4 and away team has breaks 1 and 3
All games are equal breaks, the first break in the fifth game will be on the toss of a coin.
Top team in each group will play in the Final
Points system 1 pt per won leg plus 2 bonus points for winning the match, in the event of
more than one team tied on points aggregate scores will decide.
Player short rule can be used.

Great game from Trevor in the first, then in the 2nd it was close all the way after the bar had gone Sparky was 70 behind and scores 70 with the last few balls for the draw.
Wins for Barry West & Derek Taylor put it at 2.5 - 1.5 meaning if we won the last leg it would be a drawn match but Terry Molloy put that fear away with a great game to win the match. Also saving me a headache.

The table was excellent tonight, with no complaints
from any player, so thanks to presumably Sparky for
his efforts.
Dave did enough in the first.
Terry top scored on the night, but it took 3 visits.
It wasn’t Neil’s night, and I managed to give the Hassocks
,the match win.
An excellent 8k and touch from Barney, put Burgess Hill
on the scoresheet.
Trevor opened with 3.4 k in the last, which had the match
outcome still been in the balance, would have put the pressure
on massively. Del , under no pressure, secured a win as the
bar fell.

A fun night of billiards, with tasty sandwiches provided by Ros,
where on the night, the Hassocks, completed the cup double.

Good times !!!!
