We are only days away from completing the draw for the WBBA Bar Billiards Blackout event weekend and there are still a small handful of slots available.
There is one remaining place to be filled in the Elite Platinum event. Five spots left in the high calibre Gold competition. We have one space left in the Silver draw. The Bronze event is once again a sell out - but reserve list entries can be taken.
All the information you need is available on the event page on the WBBA website (link in the post above!).
We are really excited to see so many of you there in few weekends time!

We were thrilled with the positive feedback from our wonderful Blackout event this weekend.
Thank you to all supporters, helpers, hosts and especially players. It was a busy weekend of billiards with many opportunities to play.
What was particularly thrilling was the high standard of play on some wonderfully set up tables. It is always impressive to see how our creative Bar Billiards community used our innovative format to maximise their scoring potential.
Our new and unique format grabbed the attention of the players - and challenged the scorers initially!!! Some old habits are very hard to shake so it was amazing to see how well everyone embraced the new format. Even if it was just as hilarious sometimes to see scorers resurrecting mental maths skills not used since school!!
The players soon got to grips with the added jeopardy of blackout with adapted play but also took advantage of the high scoring available. It may have been as early as the third series of matches that a player calculated the massive potential increase in scoring rate and took their average up from a relative standard 1k per min to somewhere between 1350 and 1800 per minute. It made a massive difference in the latter part of games!
The good news is that we have a number of new exciting formats and events ready to go over the course of 2024 and 2025 and we will be announcing our next one very soon.
Until then - thanks to everyone - we had a blackout blast!!
