Bevy 2 - 3 New Oak B
Brain 7030 - B/P Alan Dad 5520 - 1860 Sandy Doug 1510 - 4110 Stuart Zoe 1350 - 2200 Lorraine Ash 2410 - 5580 Jean (This is the teams on correct side not like the written report from the night were we all kept swapping team 😂)
What a fecking night at the scoomb club, the vibe is unreal….. we were the vibe!! 🍻 Table bit low even for the shorties of the team, not my fave table balls don’t like the holes!! First game both missed one up but Bri was a heroine what a ledge, captain Dad went and SLAYED the sandy giving us a banging start to the night!! Next what a scrappy game, was given a card by someone so had to go to the bar, such a shame I missed it!! What a shocking game next barely had time for a drink had to keep going to the table to attempt to play!! To finish it off the shot of the night surprise surprise I was busy chatting to see Jean get the 300 shot and destroyed the Ashley!! Well done Huns!!! Good luck!!

Question - What lasts 19+minutes and seems like you’re in a circus? Answer - The Caxton table. It had such a bad left hand roll on the right side, if you went for the twenty, it would go straight in the 10 hole. It really was a joke. I felt sorry for the MM boys, they gave us such a good game on their own top before Xmas and won, tonight was a lottery.
Master Mariner 0 Duke of Wellie 5
Steve B 2290 v 4590 KT - Steve lost his opening 1600 bk, it would have been a lot closer. Daz Robins 350 v 3350 Colin Gary M 980 v 1120 Dave - so many scores lost in this game thanks to the roll Bob M 340 v 4200 Mick W DJ Robins 790 v 7370 Tupps
And surprisingly no food again 🤔

Two Prem sides met in this Quarter final clash
Stag C 3 - 2 New Oak A
Grant Tully 3,630* - 1,620 Marc Chipman Stu Mepham 3,500 - 3,000* Phil Osborne Bob Hall 4,630* - 7,640 Nigel Senior Jim Millward 7,500 - 1,500* Bob Osborne Kev Hall 250* - 10,970** Ian Lelliott
The Stag built a 2-0 lead with wins through Grant and Stuart. Safe to say that along with Chippers and Phil they all struggled especially with the back off the table.
Nige decided he had to go next so he took on Bob, who made a decent 4.5k. Nige missed early first go at break but was better 2nd time making enough.
This left Stag captain Jim to play Bob against the break. Nige hoping for a poor Jim, but this was far from the case as Jim proved to be the class player fo the night, a great couple of shots to get the balls back which had Grant tapping his knee, then a faultless 7.5k and touch to secure their place in the semi finals.
In the dead rubber both Kev and Ian were off before reaching 500. Ian then settled down to make a 10k to make the scoreline a bit more respectable.
So out of the cup but no bother for the New Oak as we will let the teams who cant win the league scrap it out for this trophy....
