Cricketers 2, Windmill GG 3Dick the Dude 4610, Mick H 2630 (Mick our 'guinea pig' sounding the table out for the rest of us. Dick put it beyond reach with a good break half way through)Clacky 1970, tommo 3250 (I managed to get 1k ahead but Clacky kept edging ever closer until I got 'em back for one last time at the end) Ricky 5860, Paul J 3410 (Paul had Ricky in his pocket for most of the game - until Ricky finally got 'em back and posted a 3k break) Boycie 2690, Graham 6760 (Graham played best than any of us: a much-needed confidence booster to bring about a 'Desmond') Billy 3980, Michael the Raconteur 5620 (A nailbiter, this one: Michael got going in stages, and at one time it looked like Billy would do it -until Michael made sure in his last visit)So there we have it: Cricketers suffering their first defeat in a really tight match in which both sides gave their all. But still a really sociable evening with some good reminiscences. Tremendous selection of sarnies, capped by Billy's super crunchy tasty pickled onions.

Dick 2300 Steve 5800 Ian 950 Moose 9840 Hoppo 2540 Pete 5130 JI'm 3140 Twig 7240 Mel 1110 Steve 7070 ( 4 player )
The" Social Club Derby "
The B's at home and looking for revenge after losing a close match earlier in the season. Unfortunately I was feeling pretty lousy and was tucked up indoors for this epic vital encounter So report is via Twig and Moose.
The B's with Tony missing still recovering from a knee operation had gained the services of Jim Greensted for the night a Fair old Sub. Game 1 Steve starting a bit sketchy but won the opener with a good last break . Game 2 Seve and Moose. Moose in imperious form never in trouble nearly 10k.
Game 3 Hoppo and Pete. Very similar to Steve slow start from Pete but a late break enough.
Game 4 Jim and Twig. A very good leg from Skipper grafting out a good Break to win such an important frame
Game 5 Steve again giving Mel the break ( Thanks to me ) sealed the win with a couple of good breaks.
An incredible result against a tough B's side making it Three whitewashes in a row. We are up to a clear Second now. An interesting conclusion unfolding and the Windmill last game. Watch this space.
